On June 6,2007,officer Xu and Officer Liu from Chongqing Customs were invited to our company to give a lecture on new policies of Customs Clearance.Staffers from Import Department,Export Department,Financial Department and the Service Department attended the meeting.         Mr.Xu and Mr.Liu carefully explained the new policy,namely,goods for import or export belonging to an enterprise could apply for customs clearance in local place while the inspection and discharge can be done in other port.The officers also narrated advantages of the new policy:the procedure of customs clearance greatly simplified,costs for enterprise reduced,clearance period shortened,a better economic environment created and competence of enterprise promoted.In addition,relevant law and risks were explained to attendances.The lecturers also answered questions raised by listeners.As a result,this meeting achieved expected success.
