Since July 2007,Chongqing experienced heavy rainfall never seen within 100years.Many houses collapsed,some roads broken off,some enterprises stopped producing,and a large area of crops injured.Economic losses were serious within this city.         Chongqing Foreign Trade Group received heavy property damage amounted to several million RMB.Among the enterprises affiliated to Chongqing Foreign Trade Group,the Bristle Factory,the Fur Factory, the Casing Factory,Ba Yue Shan Tea Factory of Tongliang County,Hechuan Strontium Chemical Plant and other units were the most seriously damaged.Statistics shows,about 1757 square meters of plant and office building were destroyed by mud-rock flow,150 square meters of dwelling houses collapsed.Until now,several dozens of dangerous places subject to landslide are waiting for remedy.         Although disaster is ruthless, human loves never lack,helping people in disaster-hit areas is our responsibility.Positively responding to proposals of the Labor Union in Foreign Trade Group,we soon made a donation valued RMB12,130.00.
